Vascular and Blood Flow Testing
These studies track how blood moves through the tiny vessels in your retina and choroid. By spotting leaks, blockages, or abnormal growth, we can diagnose and monitor conditions like diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration more effectively.
A special dye highlights blood flow through the retina, revealing leaks, swelling, or blocked vessels often seen in diabetic eye disease or macular edema.
FFA examines retinal circulation in detail and helps detect early damage to vessels caused by chronic or vascular retinal diseases.
ICGA visualizes deeper circulation in the choroid and is useful for conditions like polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy or central serous chorioretinopathy when standard tests are not enough.
OCT-A tracks abnormal vessel growth without contrast dyes and is helpful in managing wet age-related macular degeneration or diabetic macular ischemia, especially for patients who need frequent monitoring.
Imaging and Structural Tests
These scans let us see the physical layers of your retina in fine detail. High-resolution images help detect swelling, thinning, or tissue changes before symptoms appear, allowing earlier care.
